We found out we were pregnant with triplets at 8 weeks and what a variety of emotions we felt! We were told from the very beginning how hard our pregnancy would be and they were right. It was extremely tough but so well worth it.

I was admitted into the hospital at 20 weeks and 6 days due to a funneling cervix. At 24 weeks my doctor came in to check me and found that I was 6 cm dilated and Baby A's (Eastyn)sac was bulging. So again they gave me very low odds for survival of the babies and rushed me for an emergency cerclage. The cerclage was a success and held until it was removed the day I was induced. I did have to stay in the hospital the entire time (Yes 13 whole weeks!!!) but while in there I made many lifelong friends with the nurses and staff and tried to make the best of my time "pre-triplets". One of my nurses actually is getting ready to become my mother in law because my husband and I played a little match maker during our stay lol.

So at 33 weeks and 4 days I went for an ultrasound where they noticed that Baby C (Emeri) was not gaining weight like the boys and decided it was time for me to deliver. My peri had promised me throughout my whole hospital stay that if I made it to 32 weeks or more he would let me try to deliver vaginally. So my induction was scheduled for Thursday Nov. 13 at 8am. My labor was great. I basically just hung out with my husband and family all day and the next thing I know they told me it was time to go to the OR to push. They took me to the OR just in case I wasnt able to deliver them naturally. So once we were in the operating room I started pushing and 5 minutes later Eastyn Ross was born weighing 4 lbs. 11 oz. Next came Blayken weighing 4 lbs 2oz then came our little princess Emeri weighing 4 lbs 2 oz. Within 15 minutes I had successfully delivered 3 healthy babies! It was the most amazing and wonderful day of our lives!

Our triplets are now 28 months old and are quite a handful but being the parents of triplets is unbelievable!
