Big milestone this week! We have reached the point of viability! This means if anything goes seriously wrong from here on out the boys can be delivered and have a chance at making it. That being said, I sure hope that nothing goes wrong and they continue to cook and grow nice and strong! At the last growth appointment we were given an update on their sizes. Baby A is 1lb 5oz, Baby B is 1lb 4oz, and Baby C is a whopping 1lb 8oz! They are right on track for where they would be if it were a singleton pregnancy. Its such a relief every time we go to the doc and see strong heartbeats and see that they've grown. I feel so blessed that we've had no complications thus far. I updated the Ultrasound Page with their newest photos. Mitch and Nate posed nice for the camera but Eli was a stinker this go around and wouldn't turn around so we didn't get any good 4D shots of him. However, the last one of the bunch I posted is one I got a few days later at my regular OB appointment of Elias. Its not a 4D but we did catch him yawning! It was so cute to see in real time, the picture doesn't do it enough justice.
As for me, I am doing well though slowing down considerably each day. I have gained 22lbs (yay me!) and am measuring 42.5 inches in diameter. My hands and feet have started to swell slightly from time to time. And last week I passed a kidney stone, which hurt like hell. But overall, feeling good. Next Friday is my last day of work and I'm really looking forward to being able to rest full-time. Of course it also means I go down to just my disability pay so things will be a little tight for a few months. Though its a little scary, I have faith that God will provide and we will be just fine. He's gotten us this far! :)
The last couple weeks have been so busy. First we had Jordan's Birthday... I made a cake (see it here) and we had a party with his friends at a laser tag arcade center. Then Thanksgiving with Matt's family. I was glad not to have to cook this year, but I did make the green bean casserole and a pumpkin cheesecake. Yum! And then this last weekend we went and finished our Christmas shopping and decorated the house for the holiday. It looks so festive! We got a real tree, a small one since space is tight this year, and I just hope it stays alive until Christmas. I've never bought a real tree this early before. Matt also bought the triplets their very first ornament which I absolutely adore. I have the most amazing, thoughtful husband. :)
