When I first found out I was pregnant with triplets, I was excited and terrified all at the same time. I knew my life was about to change in a BIG way! I immediately started doing research to find out everything I could about triplets. I wanted to know everything- the good, the bad, the ugly and the beautiful! While there is a lot of information out there, I was hard pressed to find any one specific site that offered all the information I wanted in one place, so I decided to take my simple blog and enhance it to include all kinds of information in hopes of some day helping others like myself.
The goals of Life With Triplets:
Participate! Throughout the site are many opportunities for you seasoned triplet moms and dads to submit your story or experience with particular subjects. The success of this site really depends on participation from many families. Everyone has a story to tell and there is someone out there that can relate to you and your story and be helped by it. You've been there in the shoes of the newly pregnant-with-multiples and scared - only you can help those who are there now!
Excuse Our Dust! Because we are in the beginning stages (and because I take care of a home with three babies, a third grader, a wonderful husband and work full time too), some areas are still under construction and more resources will be added regularly so keep checking back with us. Suggestions for content are welcome, just Contact Us.
In the meantime, thanks for sharing in our adventure... Life With Triplets!

Juvenile Diabetes
(Information from www.jdrf.org) Diabetes is the name given to disorders in which the body has trouble regulating its blood glucose, or blood sugar, levels. Type 1 Diabetes, also called juvenile diabetes or insulin-dependent diabetes, is a disorder of the body's immune system -- that is, its system for protecting itself from viruses, bacteria or any "foreign" substances. This type is most commonly diagnosed in children and teens and leaves them dependant on insulin injections for their entire life. According to a study done by the American Diabetes Association 1 in every 400 children are diagnosed with this condition.
